I have done a lot of educational development for the Rocket. They were used by two museums that I heard about-- one was the Smithsonian. I believe the other was in London, but I could be wrong.

Right now I am developing a hypermedia program around a collection of Native American art as part of a dissertation in instructional technology. I would love to deliver it on a handheld device like the Rocket or Ebookman so people could use it as they browsed a collection to find
more information. What would be even better is if it was a wireless device with Web capability so patrons could also link to information about similar objects in other collections, or to the artist's home page for instance.

Unfortunately, I have not planned to use these devices. The REB1100 and 1200 have not made it easy to upload your own content (unlike their predecessors). I am looking forward to the Ebookman because it does have that capability and the possibility of playing MP3 sound files as
well. Another player, but not yet on the market is the GoReader.
