writing my juridical thesis on the subject of „Cross-border art loans“ in
which I would like  to compare the different juridical instruments  as well
as the practical handling of organizing a exhibition (mainly in UK, USA,
France and Germany), I am particularly interested in evaluating standard
loan forms of different museums and galleries.

I am focussing on the questions of immunity from seizure, choice-of-forum
and arbitration clauses and the applicable law on the one hand and
questions of copyright law (exhibition catalogues, exhibition in the
internet) and state indemnities on the other.

Although the specialised libraries are very well equipped, the loan forms I
have been able to evalutate so far are quite old and it is – in order to be
of some use for practitioners – to my mind necessary that I get hold of
those forms which are used in today’s practice.

You would very much help me with my research if you could send me your
standard (or at least frequently used) loan form by letter, fax or e-mail.

If you prefer – for reasons of confidentiality – not to be cited as
institution I might of course leave out your name.

Hoping that I am not too demanding I would be very glad if you could help
me with my research which could – in the end – perhaps be of some use to
you.
