I really wouldn't recommend using glassine; I did and while I didn't see any
damage to the drawings, the glassine "turned," that is, changed colors.  It
is definitely not recommended.

You might try map folders and permalife, keeping related drawings together,
though not very many to a folder, especially is they are on cardboard.
Otherwise, each drawing could have its own folder. Hollinger sells very large
(but not very heavy) map stock that you can fold in half and cut to a custom
size.

In boxes, I have used folders and separated drawings with permalife-- not
very many drawings to a folder.
