I'm willing to bet that in a very few decades some museum will have the
courage to have an exhibition on the current holocaust that we now know
as gang-warfare - that is as much social history as WWII or the American
Civil War.  As museums are educational institutions in a less formal,
more continuing education format for the general public, we have a
responsibility of presenting highly accurate perspectives if we are to
remain in the business that we have re-invented in order to better
address society's needs and justify their tax dollars as a part of our
income.
