Margaret,

We've been playing with digital cameras for years, and just bought a new one
last month. After a lot of research, I went with the Sony DSC-S70. It
takes fantastic pictures, it uses its own rechargeable battery (which lasts
a very long time and charges quickly), and downloads to my computer easily
with USB connections. The only downside is that it uses the Sony
MemoryStick to store the pictures, which isn't as common as flash cards, but
if you get a couple of 64meg MemorySticks, you'll be fine. Pictures can be
saved as JPEG or TIFF, you can add voice annotation to the images, and even
take short video clips. Plus, it's very small, and very easy to use.

We've been EXTREMELY happy with this choice!
