STAINED GLASS:

In addition to the great suggestions thus far, I would encourage you to
contact English Heritage, especially in consideration of their replacement
windows at Windsor Castle.

Also, Chartres and Saint Chapelle (Paris, France) are probably most noted
amongst medieval scholars for their stained glass. Their guidebooks should
be available.
