Museum Outreach and Social Services, No Need to Reinvent the Wheel

FEATURING:
The Cultural Development Task Force Cool Culture Initiative, a
successful and growing partnership of NYC cultural arts educators and
direct service children's agencies.
The Familiar Strangers ESOL Program, a partnership between University
Settlement House and the Lower East Side Tenement Museum now in its 6th
year.

WHERE: the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment

COST: NYCMER members FREE   Non-members $5

GETTING THERE:
BCUE is in Prospect Park at the Tennis House just off 9th street and
Prospect Park West. We will be in the lower level.  Ring the bell (or we
will try and have the doors open) go down the stairs to the gallery area
and the session will take place in the classroom.
Subway
*       Take the 'F' train to 7th Avenue station,
        Go up the 8th Avenue exit.
*       Walk (uphill) one block on 9th Street.
*       Enter the Park at the 9th Street entrance.

*       Walk straight ahead on the footpath and
        cross Park Drive at the traffic light.
The Tennis House, a gray stone building with arches and columns, is to
the left on the footpath.
Parking: Auto parking is available on Prospect Park West or in the
Public Parking area adjacent to Litchfield Villa. (Enter on Prospect
Park West near Fifth Street.) Parking at the Picnic House by permit
only. Parking is not permitted at the Tennis House.
