I have been asked to add a sample "cease and desist" letter to the RARIN
(Rights and Reproduction Information Network) web site at
<http://www.panix.com/~squigle/rarin/01rcsite.html>.  If you have a letter
that you send out when you find your institution's image(s) have been used
without your institution's permission, there are others who would appreciate
being able to use it as a model.  Please contact me off list if you have a
letter you might be willing to share.

A few weeks ago I offered to send a copy of a contract for commissioned
works of art to someone who requested it.  I had so many requests that,
instead, it will be posted on the Registrars Committee web site next week -
please watch for it there at the link "Reference"<http://www.rcaam.org/>.

FYI, both the RARIN and OnContract (freelancers able to do registration work
of all ilk) have both been updated today.  The URL for OnContract is

available through the RC web site.
