Your birthday parties sound like the ones we used to have
at the 1840 House. We had the children make common cake,
also called 1234 cup cakes.  The cup cakes need to be eaten
while still warm and we served them with jam.  If you'd
like the receipt I will be glad to send it to you.  Ellie
