This is a MODERATED list intended for the scholarly discussion of European
prehistoric and historic archaeology. The time period can range from the
Early Palaeolithic through the 1800s. The geographic focus is Europe,
which is broadly defined as extending from Spain and Portugal and Ireland in
the West, to the Urals in the East. This is a general purpose list; please
feel free to make book and article announcements, field school anouncements,
or discuss new discoveries or theories and interpretations.

While English is the primary language, all other languages are welcome.

SPAM and flaming are not welcome. Discussions on Atlantis, Neo-Nazism and
Aryan supremacy will also be deleted.
