I agree with the first response to this post.  If a fiduciary of the
institution stands to gain personally from a business interaction with the
museum, there is potential for conflict of interest -- at the very least,
there is a real appearance of conflict of interest in any such arrangement.
I think it may be best to find someone not affiliated with your museum to do
the job.
