Responsibilities
Supports the Lighting Designer and Lighting Assistants by administering and
maintaining an Excel spreadsheet of lighting equipment, answering calls and
prioritizing lighting problems within the Museum for technician attention,
updating and cataloging the lighting reference library, following up with
suppliers on orders, invoices, and research, maintaining files and
correspondence, and other tasks as assigned. The Administrative Assistant is
not a designer.

Qualifications
Ideal candidate has a BA, previous administrative experience, excellent
computer skills in Windows including the ability to conduct product research
on the web, ability to assess and prioritize problems, ability to accomplish
tasks with a minimum of supervision. Previous knowledge of, or an interest
in, architectural lighting and lighting equipment beneficial. AutoCAD
familiarity a plus.

Salary: $28,000/year plus excellent benefits after 90 day waiting period.
