This summer, graduate students attending my Digital Imaging for Museums
class as part of George Washington University's Museum Studies Program will
interview museum professionals who manage ongoing digital imaging programs.
Interview topics include: selection of equipment, scanning specifications,
cataloguing and metadata, storage and preservation, image management and
selection criteria. The results of these informal interviews (which may be
conducted by telephone or e-mail) will be used to compare imaging practices
and the state of the art in a wide variety of museums. If your museum has a
digital imaging program and you would like to participate in the survey,
