You might try David Newell (exhibits) or the archivist (forgot his name) at the Colorado History Museum, in Denver (www.coloradohistory.org/  or 1-303-866-3882) they recently had an exhibit which might have had glass plate negatives. Many of the photos were made from glass plate
negatives and there was an interactive using glass plates.
