Title:          Rights & Reproductions Manager
Reports to:     Registrar

Job Summary: Facilitate and process internal and external requests for rights and reproductions permission; Organize, maintain and properly store all TFA visual resources 

Qualifications
Education:  College degree; BA in Art History or studio art preferred

Skills/Experience:  Two years administrative office or secretarial experience required; Proficiency in Microsoft Office *word processing and Excel; Professional skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; Demonstrated ability to work independently, perform several functions simultaneously and prioritize work; Ability to work with other people's deadlines; Ability to use a 35mm camera. Previous work experience with Rights & Reproductions and/or image collections preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
                1.      Process external permission requests to reproduce objects from the TFA collection as per established policies and procedures; handle copyright issues related to reproduction of collection objects; In conjunction with the Bookstore manager, process commercial requests for items such as notecards or books which may use a TFA collection image.
2.      Process internal requests to reproduce TFA collections and library publications as per established policies and procedures.
3.      Generate and maintain all paperwork related to the functions of the position including purchase orders, invoices, correspondence, contracts and other related materials.  Ensure that all paperwork is accurately completed in a timely manner.
4.      Maintain safe and proper storage of a master file of collection transparencies, black & white photographs, negatives and slides.  Maintain circulating files of transparencies and black & white photographs. 
5.      Schedule and oversee new photography for TFA collection objects and documentation of permanent collection and temporary exhibitions.
6.      Plan and oversee annual budget for new photography in conjunction with the Registrar and other department heads.  Review and update fee schedule and policies for Rights & Reproductions on an annual basis.
7.      Perform copy-stand work as needed.
8.      Assist the Librarian with the circulating slide collection as needed.
9.      Perform other related duties as required or needed
