Good day all!
I am currently working on improving our existing evaluation form. I work
with our provincial historic parks and we have a number of sites all of
which are not the same themes. I am hoping to come up with a generic form
that would be suitable for all sites. A problem I have come across is the
many differences between a school group program versus a casual visitor
program. I am almost at the conclusion that two seperate forms will be
required to handle these differences.
My question is - is there anyone who would be willing to share their
existing evaluation standards or procedures? Similiar and/or past
experiences with evaluations? What is the best way to set up a form? I
find that a lot of writing distracts the interpreter that I am evaluating
and also keeps me from "catching" everything that is taking place. How
often should evaluations take place. Does anyone recommend
self-evaluations, where the interpreter evaluate themselves?
More than one question I realize! Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
