There are 10 museums/nonprofits in Washington, DC banded together as the
Dupont-Kalorama Museums Consortium (DKMC). On the first weekend of June
annually we hold 'Walk Weekend' with free admission, shuttle buses, music
and activities for adults and children. We market the consortium throughout
the year by publishing a booklet/brochure called 'Museum Walk' containing a
map showing the location of the different participants and some history of
the neighborhood. Both programs have been very successful.

Subject: museum crawl
Hello,
I am researching museum crawl type events and I am looking for organizations
and cities that have organized such a collaborative event among non-profits.
Has your organization or city tried this or do you know of someone that has?
Thank you for any information you can share.
