Don't quote me on this .. but I *think* that Pliantex manufacture has been
disconitued. But .. red rot of leather is a fungus, right? I imagine there
are decent alternatives ... and it probably depends on what stage the decay
is at. Conservation Online might have some info on this subject. Their
