I passed through the Calgary Airport about a year ago, and the Glenbow
Museum had set up a display there on artifact forgeries (mostly dealing with
Mesoamerican pottery, as I recall).  I don't know if they fall into the time
periods you were looking for, but it might be worth your while to contact
