Oh.  If we are allowed to list exhibits experienced after we became adults /
museum professionals, then I would have to add the Earthworm Museum in
Australia (in some small town on the road between Melbourne and the place
you see the penguins come ashore).  Giant walk-through earthworm -- the
Everest of immersive experiences.
