James,

There are many things to see in Columbus.
If you want arts and museums: COSI--science and industry (on broad st.), the
Wexner Center on High st. on OSU's campus, CCAD (columbus college of art and
design, a nice little gallery) Gay st. and 7th? In short north (on High st.
going North--four stop lights) there's tons of galleries, cool shops, nice
restaurants.
Right across from the expo center is North market (a great farmer's market)
it's on High about three lights after broad st. turn left at the flashing
crosswalk.
German Village is also a pretty place, go south on high st. turn left on
fourth light after broad st. (that should put you right into german
village).
These are all basically downtown and not too far from each other.
