This fall the course that I teach, Information Technology for Non-profits,
will be offered online. The course is offered through the Harvard
University Extension School. In the last few years, it has been directed
primarily to museum professionals. This year, we have realized an affinity
with other non-profits on many of the issues discussed and the course has
been broadened. The course given at Harvard includes computer lab time for
graduate students. Students taking the course online at the graduate level
will be given a similar option via tutorials, online office hours with me
and the lab instructor (Leslie Johnston). For more information on the
course and the Harvard Extension School, please visit:
http://www.extension.harvard.edu/ or feel free to contact me directly.

Is anyone aware of any on-line courses which specialize in computer
programs that are particularly relevant to museum professionals (ie.
Access, Excel, etc.)?

Any info would be greatly appreciated,

Michelle Tarnopolsky
