Sorry, no specific recommendations for you, but something that might be
useful to you ...

I just ran a search for "railroad museums" on my website
http://museumstuff.com and came up with a list of about 30. It's by no
means a complete list. For your convenience, and that of other museum
website seekers, I've included a "checkbox" search feature that allows you
to search by collection types. There's an option for railroad museums
included.
