Dear Andy and others,

Thanks for the interesting responses to this issue about museum web sites
and schools. I am glad that the Board of Ed has links to museum web sites,
yet I still wonder what these teachers were talking about.  It could
perhaps be--as Andy has suggested--something that is done on a school by
school basis?  Perhaps principals are making this editorial decision?  I
will try asking the teachers again for more information and will get back
to you.  As for if this firewall against museums was done in response to
Sensation, I highly doubt it.  That exhibition is in the past and really
did not seem to make such a huge impact on the schools from what I have
seen.
