Does your institution effectively communicate the value of your museum
to the community and focus on programs that support the role of families
while working with community organizations?  If so, The Tech Museum of
Innovation in San Jose, CA is searching for a partnering institution
that would be interested in sharing their experiences with us in a panel
discussion at the annual AAM Meeting: The Spirit of Community in May,
2001. We plan to discuss how to collaborate with other departments in
the museum, how to work successfully with partnering organizations, and
how to empower the parents in our underserved audiences.

A representative from your museum's Outreach, Education, Programs, or
Marketing department along with a representative from the partnering
community organization you have been working with should be available
for the 70-minute panel discussion in St. Louis, MO.
