I'm doing research on the debate over how to handle
Nazi-confiscated Jewish (or another ethnic
group's)property that has found its way into American
museums.  I was wondering if any of you have had to
deal with this issue and if so, how did you handle it?
 Also, what are your thoughts on this issue? Should
the property be returned to the family, given they can
provide proof that it belonged to them?  What does the
museum do about this loss then?

Any insight you could give me would be greatly
appreciated!
