A belated response to the bug question of last week. In addition to the
books about bugs and pest management mentioned by Olivia and another, some
good resources are:
1. Peltz, Perri and M. Rossol. Safe Pest Control Procedures for Museum
Collections. Center for Occupational Hazrds, 1983.
2. Dawson, John E. (revised by Thomas J.K. Strang). Technical Bulletin 15:
Solving Museum Insection Problems: Chemical Controls. Canadian
Conservation Institute.
3. Harmon, James D. Integrated Pest Management in Museum, Library, and
Archival Facilities: A Step by Step Approach for the Design, Development,
Implementation & Maintenance of an Integrated Management Program, 1993.
 4. Univ. of California, Div. of Agricultural Sciences. Industrial and
Institutional Pest Control. Leaflet 2963, 1977.
5. Ward, Philip R. Getting the Bugs Out. Museum Methods Manual 4, British
Colmbia Provincial Museum, 1976.
