Can anyone supply addresses for vendors of tape or disc players that are
activated by a motion or proximity sensor? Thanks. Bill Mulligan

I don't know of any with the motion sensors already on them, but you can buy
motion dectectors at Radio Shack and wire it yourself. Or a local security
company can wire it for you. The sensors only cost about $20 and as a
non-technical person I can wire them. You just need to check whether your
equipment requires an open or a closed curcuit and make sure your sensor
matches.
