question to all

in the musuem of choice:
in terms of getting my foot in the door without a master's--
is it best to secure an interesting volunteer position (with potential for
learning, etc) ; or a job that is not directly related to my interests but
gives me a paying job in the museum - i.e. i am interested in
education/programming/anthroplogy and have come across possible options in
visitors services.
