As an adult the most unforgettable was seeing the dinosaurs in the Museum
of Natural History in NYC. What really blew me away was the fact they are
on the 3rd or 4th floor. I had just assumed they would be in the
basement. Totally amazing.

As a kid I remeber seeing the elephants in a rotunda in a museum somewhere
in Chicago. We were passing through when I was 5 or 6. I can remeber
being lifted up to feel the swatch of elephant skin on the display podium.
I also remeber seeing Dat-so-la-lee's baskets in the Nevada state museum.
Exquisite very fine basketry.
