ICR ANNUAL CONFERENCE 1999 The annual conference of ICR (ICOM's International committee for Regional Museums) will take place in Greece 17 - 24 October. The general theme of the conference is "Museum Accreditation", a topic of great interest and relevance for many museums around the world. The broad interest in these questions and the need for collegial exchange of ideas, was obvious during our ICR sessions on the Triennial Conference in Australia 1998. We will bring a couple of very experienced people in the field of museum accreditation to our conference in Greece. Details of the conference are still to be worked out in cooperation with the National Committee of ICOM-Greece. There could be some minor changes in the broad program here presented.
