We are pleased to announce the 2021 FREE testbed of KONSERVATIVe. This time even a little longer, namely from Monday 10, 2021, until the end of June.
What is KONSERVATIVe?
KONSERVATIVe is a mighty translation tool for curators and conservators from English to German and viceversa. The new online dictionary for conservators and heritage protection with outstanding features comprehends a big SQL-Database which is growing fast together with its registrated users. No postage costs. Free for copy and paste. Made for fast workers.
Now with more than 185,000 words, 2,700 cross-references, 3,600 notes and 3,538 wrong entries from other dictionaries (VF, see the example below) from all parts of cultural heritage protection, among them the larger complexes archaeology, history of art, textile fibres, arms and armour, tiles and bricks, minerals, old tools and techniques, synthetic and natural colours and dyes, metallurgy, imitation products, pests and vermins, chemicals, classical iconography etc.
The editor is art historian, main contributor and editor of the trilingual "Großes Fachwörterbuch für Kunst und Architektur", several thesauri, member of ICOM Germany and active contributor to online dictionary forums.

Future active participation is awarded
There is the opportunity to actively participate in the further expansion: from small notes that reduce the upcoming bill to permanent free access for people and institutions providing us with extensive word lists for editorial purposes.
