Hello Museum Folk,

Cultural organizations serve audiences. What do you do when audiences can't come to you? Find out from three creative cultural organizations.

The Washington, DC metro-area Museum Education Roundtable is hosting a free, on-line panel discussion next Wednesday, August 5 on "Pandemic Programming: How Small Cultural Organizations are Developing Educationally Satisfying & Revenue-Generating Programs."

Panelists will share how their socially distant programs fulfill mission, reach audiences, and support revenue.

The COVID-19 crisis has severely limited in-person visits to cultural organizations. In its early phases, many organizations offered up free, virtual programs. As the pandemic continues, low visitation has reduced organizations' revenue. As a result, some are developing mission-focused, socially distant programs that also generate revenue. This on-line panel discussion focuses on efforts of smaller institutions. We welcome organizations of all sizes to attend and invite you to share your successes and challenges as well.
