StEPs is a self-paced assessment program developed for small- to mid-sized historical societies, museums, historic houses and related organizations; larger organizations may find it useful for prioritizing and as a refresher checklist or training tool. Enrollment in StEPs is a one-time fee of $175 for institutional members of the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH).
