Amy,

I am assuming you are talking about smoking the weed? If someone is using THC drops or edibles or tinctures, you probably will not know if they use them responsibly. So I would suggest that for smoking, you use the same policies you have for tobacco. There really is not much difference. The only two times I smoked tobacco (cigars celebrating the birth of a baby), I was high as a kite! As far as the invisible abuse, treat it the same as your drunk visitor policy. Legal is legal, regardless of the substance. And "intoxicated" also is the same.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Marijuana Policy

Hi All,
I currently sit on the board for a small courthouse museum in rural central Illinois. As Illinois moves toward the possible legalization of recreational Marijuana, our board is discussing making a policy concerning usage of such on our properties. As this is new-ish territory for our area, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this type of policy or could offer any advice.

Thank You!
