2018 Collection Technician Generalist

The Collections Technician Generalist is a regular part-time employee whose primary responsibility is achievement of the highest professional standards in appearance and cleanliness of museum and associated areas.  This position works directly with staff and volunteers implementing museum policies and procedures regarding the protection, care, documentation, presentation and interpretation of the museum collections as well as maintaining private and public spaces including restrooms and tour access areas.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  Ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication with computer proficiency in Microsoft products.  Similar previous experience is preferred, museum setting highly desirable.

This position has a flexible work schedule; evening and weekend work may be required.
Average work week is 20 hours.
