Hello Museum-L! Apologies for any cross-posting. We are in the very early stages of exploring new CMS options for our institution (currently using Mimsy XG) and we will be demoing some different programs. Demos are wonderful, but I'd really like to hear the experiences that you have all had actually using the database in your day-to-day work. First up, we will be looking at both Re:Discovery Proficio and Argus. If there are any users of these databases out there, what do you like? What do you dislike? Please don't hold back, tell me what you love and/or hate! Also, could you please let me know the size of your collection and what it contains/what you use the database for (objects, archives, library, condition reporting, etc.), that way I can have a point of reference in comparison to our own collections and usage. Please feel free to reply on or off list. Thanks in advance!
