Pittsburgh Museum Displays Historic Apollo 11 Moon Mission Artifacts
Artifacts from the historic spacemission of Apollo 11, which took two American astronauts to thesurface of the Moon for the first time in 1969, are now on display atthe Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh. This temporaryexhibit, titled “Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission,” features more than a hundred artifacts from the SmithsonianInstitution's National Air and Space Museum.
