We flat out refuse items unless they have been arranged previously with our
director (i.e. me!).

Our collections policy is on our website.
We explain why we cannot accept items unless they are appropriate.
We legally can do nothing without a signed DEED OF GIFT, whether they want
us to sell it to make money for the museum or want it to be in the
collection.

I recommend removing that temporary form.
