Has anyone done a cost analysis for accessioning an item into the collection? Assuming that each new item requires the attention of a curator, registrar, collections and metadata staff, photographer, and conservation, what is the average
amount of time each step takes. Have you calculated a dollar value for each segment and an overall average cost/item?
