There’s still time to register for the webinar “Digital Humanities for State and Local History” scheduled for this Thursday, December 7th from 3-4:15 pm Eastern.

Guest speaker Dr. Jennifer Guiliano, IUPUI, will introduce technologies, approaches, and platforms for developing digital state and local history in low and no-cost environments.

Dr. Guiliano will define the field, explore projects that can serve as models, and discuss common issues beginners face in becoming fluent in digital humanities.
Digital archiving, storytelling, visualization, and data analysis will all be addressed through explorations of OpenRefine, Scalar, Tableau, Carto, Murkutu, and other tools.

Registration is $40 for AASLH members/$65 for non-members. After the live event, all registrants receive a link to the webinar recording.

To register visit the AASLH continuing education calendar (http://learn.aaslh.org/).
