Dear All!

It is incredibly sad to know that Stephen Weil has left the large museum
community. We were privileged to be with him during the 2004 Baltic School of
Museology. His challenging ideas, wise concepts and elegance led all of us to a
different perception of the huge field of museology which Stephen brightly
pictured as a creative and perfectly structured environment.
His Latvian colleagues express their deep sympathy to his family and friends all
over the world.
We will treasure our memories about Steve and his written heritage, values that
will follow us throughout our lives.

On behaf of the State Authority on Museums of Latvia
