The material housed at the ICOM World Wide Web site is now accessible by
anonymous FTP (File Transfer Protocol). The URL for this service is:

     ftp://ftp.icom.org/

Please note that this URL previously provided access to the FTP server at
the Swedish Museum of Natural History (NRM). The material stored on the
two FTP hosts is not identical. The previous site contained material
contributed to the ICOM document repositories by individual ICOM
committees, with the exception of HTML documents. The current site provides
access to all the documents on the ICOM Web site, but not to the committee
material.

FTP access to committee material at NRM is being discontinued. Documents
contributed by CIDOC are, however, still available at:

     ftp://ftp.nrm.se/ICOM/CIDOC/
