The ICOM/CIDOC Annual International Conference at Museum of World Culture, Gothenburg, Sweden 10-14 spetember 2006 is getting closer.

The theme "Wider perspective - broader base" aims to open contact within the area of documentation in the heritage sector. CIDOC - mainly focused on documentation and doc technology within museums - focus on the importance of looking at these issues together with archives, libraries, bridging to museology, information science and other research areas, to find best practices for the future.

The conference gathers experts, professionals and students from a lot of countries, showing and discussing documentation in a wide heritage perspective.
