Dear Members of ICOM and ICOM MPR
In preparations of the ICOM General Conference in Shanghai, China MPR will hold "The 1st China International Forum of Museums" in Beijing from 4th to 6th November.

The 1st China International Forum of Museums is open for all members of ICOM. China MPR would like to invite and encourage the members of MPR who plan to attend the Shanghai ICOM to participate the event in Beijing. Therefore, the Committee of China MPR provides 10 scholarships. The scholarship includes a three-night accommodation in a 5-star hotel in Beijing (two-night before going to Shanghai, and one-night on the way of return from Shanghai) and a round-trip flight tickets Beijing-Shanghai-Beijing. The dead-line of applying the scholarship is till 30 Sep 2010.

The persons willing to benefit from the above offer of free accommodation and air tickets are requested to deliver a 15-20 minutes speech at this Forum in Beijing. Others attending the Forum who wish to participate only by submitting a paper can benefit of the free accommodation but not the free air tickets. The China MPR will also provide MPR members with a free tour during their stay in Beijing.
