Register now for the joint conference by INTERCOM and FIHRM on:

THE SOCIAL IMPACT OF MUSEUMS

1-4 May 2014
Taipei, Taiwan

Museums in the 21st century are increasingly considering their social value and their duty of social responsibility. Affiliated Organisation FIHRM, together with INTERCOM, the ICOM International Committee on Museum Management, will look at The Social Impact of Museums and identify underlying challenges and opportunities with which museum professionals find themselves face to face.

We will consider a range of topics including: social memory, equality, empowerment, working with communities, dealing with difficult subjects, politics and social justice.
You can now register for the conference.

Registration for the conference is now open and you can find out more about some of the key speakers and conference themes on the conference website at http://www.intercom2014-taipei.cam.org.tw/
