Dear colleagues,

With the conference only days away, we look forward to seeing you at the
conference next week and hope that you will be able to join INTERCOM's
programme on Museums and Human Rights.

In addition to two days of panel sessions with many international
speakers from all over the world, INTERCOM is also holding a special
workshop in collaboration with the British Council in Brazil on the
importance of vision and values and how best to advocate your museum.

Also don't miss the special Evening of Memorial Lectures on Tuesday 13
August, a joint in event with ICOM Austria, ICTOP, ICEE, CECA INTERCOM
wit speaker Luisa de Pena from the Dominican Republic and Richard
Sandell from the UK delivering key lectures under the heading of the
overall conference theme: Museums (memory  + creativity)=social change.

**PLEASE NOTE a programme correction: INTERCOM conference sessions start
at 10am on Tuesday 13 August and Wednesday 14 August**
