Dear Museum colleagues,

EXARC (in cooperation with OpenArch) is preparing a little guide for
archaeological open-air museums. It will explain what this category of
museums can learn from the international museum world and where to
find this help.We are 350 in Europe and maybe 1,000 worldwide and need
contact with museum professionals. Many of our museums are grassroot
museums.

Included in the guidebook should be a shortlist of weblinks to
organisations where archaeological open-air museums can get advice or
recommendations.
This list should NOT include the usual national museum organisations
but for example specialists in museum shops, in museum education and
such - it does not matter in what country as long as they understand
English.
Of course we will include links to several IC’s and AO’s of ICOM but
what ELSE is there for open-air museums like us?

Tips to include in our shortlist are welcome at
[log in to unmask], please before 15 October 2015.

many thanks,

Dr Roeland Paardekooper
EXARC Director
