Me uno a ustedes en la insistencia de la importancia del tema de la
accesibilidad, ahora también llamadao diseño incluyente y diseño
universal.
Ya en México, el año pasado, durante la reunión Anual del Comité de
Arquitectura y Técnicas Museográficas, ICAMT, se le dedicó una sesión al
tema.
Para el primer trimestre del 2004, organizaré un Coloquio sobre
Accesibilidad y Museos. Por favor háganme saber si están interesados en
participar. Será una actividad realizada en rlación a la Especialidad de
Museos y Exposiciones del Centro de Investigación y Estudios de
Postgrado, de la Facultad de Arquitectura de la UNAM.
Mantengámos en contacto y sigamos usando este medio maravilloso de
comunicación.

Dear Amalia and collegues:
I join you on your insistence to stress the importance of accesability,
now also known as universal design or inclusive design.
In Mexico, during last year´s meeting of the International Committee on
Architecture and Museum Techniques, a session was dedicated to this
issue.
Next year, sometime during the first three months of the year, a Seminar
on Museums and Accesability will be organized at the Center of Post
Graduate Studies of the School of Architecture of the National
University, as part of the Specialty on Museum Architecture, which
hopefully will beguin in the second semester of 2004.
Lets keep in contact and lets continue using this wonderful
communication resource.
