The Seventh International Conference on the Inclusive Museum at the The
Autry National Center of the American West in Los Angeles, USA, from 4 to 6
August, 2014, will feature plenary sessions by some of the world’s leading
thinkers and innovators in the field, as well as numerous presentations by
researchers and practitioners from 36 countries. The Conference Theme for
2014 is Shared Vision and Shared Histories. Registrations are still open.
Registration is for the year from August 2014 to August 2015 and includes
the Conference and free access to the International Journal on the
Inclusive Museum.


This year's plenary speakers include: Liebe Geft is the Director of the
Museum of Tolerance; Charmaine Jefferson is the Executive Director of the
California African American Museum; Richard Kurin, Under Secretary for
History, Art, and Culture, Smithsonian Institution; An Laishun, Executive
Council Member of ICOM and representing the President of ICOM; Nina Simon
Executive Director of the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History; Richard West
Jr. President and CEO, Autry National Center of the American West, Los
Angeles, California & former Vice President of ICOM; and Amareswar Galla,
former Vice President of ICOM and founding Chairperson of the Inclusive
Museum Knowledge Community.
